Bamboo truly is a wonder material. Sustainable, durable and versatile. You can even make reusable cutlery from it, as we’ve done here. They’re perfect for picnics, camping, hiking or your next backyard birthday party. Unlike plastic they won’t break, even when cutting through crusty loaves of bread, and are much lighter than metal.
Slender, smooth and a pleasure to eat with, they can be reused endless times. If you should accidentally leave one outside somewhere feel safe in the knowledge it will biodegrade, or maybe even get used as a bearing wall in a bird’s nest. Dishwasher-safe.

Our supplier owns hectares of sustainably managed bamboo. After harvesting, the bamboo dries in the sun next to the factory and is then carefully handcrafted into forks, knives and spoons. The leftovers, cuts and small branches, are used to heat the factory.
