Sustainability is more than just a guiding principle for us – it’s the DNA of every product we create. From the first spark of an idea to the final product in your hands, every decision is driven by a simple question: how can we make this better for the planet? Whether you’re holding one of our phone cases, writing in a stone paper notebook, or sipping from a reusable bottle, you’re part of something bigger. In this post, we’ll show you how sustainability shapes our entire product range and how every choice we make aims to build a better future. Quick links Why sustainability matters Circularity and the agood loop™ Plant-based materials Sustainable phone accessories Stone paper notebooks - a paperless solution Reusable bottles - alternative to single-use plastics Sustainable packaging - more than just a box Why don't we rush to add more products? Why sustainability matters We live in a world where the environment is under increasing pressure. Waste is piling up, natural resources are being depleted, and the impact of human activity on the planet is becoming impossible to ignore. That's where our commitment to sustainability comes in. We want to challenge the status quo of mass consumption and waste by providing products that offer real value – not just in their function but in the way they are made and their impact on the planet. Sustainability to us means creating a product life cycle that minimises waste, reduces environmental impact, and promotes reuse, recycling, and most important - circularity. Circularity and the agood loop™ We have implemented what we call the agood loop™ – our circular system designed to ensure zero waste. Here's how it works: whenever a customer sends back their old phone case, we regrind it and use the materials in future production. This ensures that no material goes to waste, and customers can feel good about their old products finding new life in our next range. Circularity is more than a concept – it’s a movement towards an entirely new way of thinking about products. Instead of designing things that will be thrown away and forgotten, we design products that can come full circle. This mindset extends to everything we create. We want each item to have a second life, helping to reduce waste and encourage recycling. Plant-based materials A significant part of our product range is made using plant-based materials. Traditional plastics, as we all know, have a disastrous impact on the environment. From the extraction of fossil fuels to the creation of non-biodegradable waste, plastic is a major environmental problem. To tackle this, we have invested in creating phone cases that are made with plant-based materials, which reduce the need for virgin plastic production. Our plant-based phone cases, for example, are made with sugarcane and cellulose. They can either be returned through our circular system or composted under industrial composting conditions. This means that once you are done with your case, it won’t sit in a landfill for hundreds of years – it will break down naturally, leaving behind no trace of waste...or will be used in future production, which we highly recommend. For our clear cases, we use a mix of recycled materials like recycled glass and old candy boxes. These clear cases offer the same protection as their traditional counterparts but with a focus on circularity, they are made from upcycled materials that can be reground and reused in future production, ensuring no waste is created. Sustainable phone accessories Sustainability extends beyond just our phone cases. Our range of sustainable phone accessories is designed with the same eco-conscious principles, offering high functionality while minimising environmental impact. Here’s a closer look at the innovative materials and designs shaping our accessories: Adjustable lanyard Our adjustable lanyard – convenience and a lower environmental impact in one. Made from recycled PET (RPET), bamboo, and stainless steel, this lanyard is 100% recyclable. We’ve even used recycled nylon and BPA-free plastic to give you a durable, eco-friendly way to carry your phone with ease. Plus, it’s adjustable, so it fits comfortably. MagSafe kickstand The MagSafe kickstand is a testament to how recycled materials can look and feel premium. It’s made from 100% recycled aluminium, with a cord crafted from recycled bottles, so it’s both lightweight and tough. Strong N52 magnets keep your phone in place, so you get a sustainable accessory that you can count on. MagSafe rings Our MagSafe accessories are featuring a rust-resistant triple-layered coating and super-strong N52 magnets. They’re designed for long-term use, so you won’t have to keep replacing them. We’re all about creating things that don’t just work well today but last for the long haul, reducing the need for frequent replacements and waste. Screen protector You can protect your phone without adding to the waste pile, you know? Our REPRTCT™ screen protector is made from 46% recycled glass, offering the same clear view and protection, but with a smaller carbon footprint. A small switch with a big impact. Phone wallet case This phone wallet case is made from Oleatex, a material crafted from the byproducts of olive oil production. That means it’s 63% bio-based, with the remaining 37% made from polyester, necessary for bonding the bio PU. Not only does it look great, but it also helps reduce waste from the olive industry. It’s proof that sustainability can be stylish, practical, and innovative all at once. Stone paper notebooks - a paperless solution Our stone paper notebooks represent an innovative leap in sustainable stationery. Unlike traditional notebooks made from trees, our stone paper notebooks are made from locally sourced limestone, primarily composed of calcium carbonate. This process doesn’t require water, bleach, or harmful chemicals like traditional paper production, meaning less strain on natural resources and less pollution. They are tear-resistant, waterproof, and beautifully smooth to write on. Hardcover Notebooks Softcover Notebooks Pocket Notebooks Notebook Packs It’s a small, simple shift away from the old way of doing things, but one that makes a huge difference when it comes to sustainability. Reusable bottles - alternative to single-use plastics Each year, millions of plastic bottles are discarded, clogging our oceans and polluting our environment. That's why we are proud to offer a range of reusable thermal bottles made from recycled steel. They keep your drinks at the perfect temperature, while cutting down on waste from single-use plastic bottles. We have added a hybrid bottle and tumbler with two lid options, making it easy to use as both a bottle and a tumbler. Our bottles are made to last, meaning that with proper care, you’ll be able to use them for years to come. We are also committed to making them as eco-friendly as possible by using recycled materials, and our packaging is designed with minimal waste in mind. Sustainable packaging - more than just a box Sustainability doesn't stop with the product itself. Every piece of packaging we use is thoughtfully designed to minimise waste and environmental impact. Our packaging is made from 100% recycled materials, and we never use plastic wraps or unnecessary fillers. Instead, we use biodegradable alternatives that still protect your product but won't harm the planet. We also aim to minimise the size of our packaging, so we are not shipping air around the world. Smaller packaging means less material used, less fuel burned during transport, and less overall environmental impact. It's these small details that add up to a big difference. Why don't we rush to add more products? To address the question of why we don’t have more designs or products, it comes down to our commitment to sustainability and quality. We believe in creating fewer, better products that stand the test of time. Every new product or design we consider goes through rigorous processes to ensure it meets our high standards, both in terms of functionality and environmental impact. We are fully transparent about the materials we use, how they’re sourced, and the CO2 emissions associated with their production. It takes time to perfect a product that is not only eco-friendly but also durable and high-quality. That’s why we don’t rush to add more items to our range or release dozens of designs each season. Instead, we focus on designing products that you’ll want to keep and use for years, knowing that they’ve been created with care for both people and the planet. This approach is at the core of who we are, ensuring that every choice we make leaves the world a little better. A product range for the future Ultimately, sustainability shapes our product range by forcing us to think long-term. Instead of focusing on what's easy or cheap, we focus on what’s better for the planet and for people. We believe that the future of business isn’t just about profit – it’s about creating a better world through the choices we make today.
