Certified B Corporation

Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.

Cradle to cradle

C2C is a holistic economic, industrial and social framework that seeks to create
systems that are not just efficient but essentially waste free.

These frameworks assess for the whole product life-cycle, from raw material to production to finished products and to product afterlife (i.e., recycling).

PIDC

PIDC has done testing on UV-degradation (photodegradable) for our Stone Paper products. When it degrades the HDPE completely degrades and is resorbed into the biosphere without adverse effects. Certificates are below. CE

All products are CE-certified. 

 

WeForest

A Good Company is planting trees in Zambia, Africa together with Weforest. We plant trees in Africa since trees are helping earth to lower CO2-emissions. Each tree can absorb up to 22 kg per CO2 a year and the lifespan for a tree is often 30-40 years.

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

REACH

REACH is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals.

 

RoHS

RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances, and impacts the entire electronics industry and many electrical products as well. The original RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union in 2002 and restricts the use of six hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products.

The Vegan Society

Products must pass the following criteria to be eligible for registration. A dedicated and experienced team check each individual product application against the criteria, and query any potential inclusion of animal ingredients, including those not present in the final product. Working with manufacturers, audits for products at high-risk of cross contamination with animal ingredients are carried out to give vegan consumers further reassurance.
