ECONYL®, a Sustainable Alternative to Nylon

Created entirely from recycled sources like old fishing nets and carpets. Designed as an eco-conscious choice, ECONYL® shares the durability of traditional nylon and can be woven into a variety of products, from clothing to industrial textiles. The production process involves globally sourcing and cleaning waste materials like carpet flooring, fabric scraps, fishing nets, and industrial plastics. After cleaning and sorting, the nylon waste undergoes a regeneration process to bring it back to its original form. ECONYL®, sustainable textile from regenerated nylon is then used to make yarns and polymers for clothing and home interiors. Notably, the recycling loop enables products made from ECONYL® to be continuously regenerated, highlighting its infinite recyclability.
