Linseed / Flax
What is it?
Linseed, also known as flax, is a food and fibre crop cultivated in the cooler regions of the world. We use waste linseed plants, grown by an ecologically certified farmer in near our basecamp in Sweden, to make A Good Mobile Case.
Why we like It
Produced in Sweden
- 100% sustainable material.
- They can also be pressed to make linseed oil, which works great as a wood impregnator.
- We use process waste from linseed plants to produce the material for A Good Mobile Cases.
- We use the residue from linseed farming to make the material for our mobile cases.
Applications
Linseed has a few applications:
- Linseed seeds have high levels of fibre and omega-3 and are a popular ingredient in müsli.
- They can also be pressed to make linseed oil, which works great as a wood impregnator.
- We use the residue from linseed farming to make the material for our mobile cases.

How to care for it
Our A Good Mobile Cases, made from linseed, are hardy and will protect your phone from the thrills and spills of everyday life.

Recycling & circularity
Unlike plastic, A Good Mobile Case is 100% compostable but, even better, send it back to us when you’re done and we’ll turn it into in a new one as part of our A Good Loop system.
How to recycle
100% compostable but we ask you to use A Good Loop.

The Mobile Case Factory
We use the waste from an ecologically certified linseed farm near our basecamp in Sweden (the farmer’s name is Arvid and he’s lovely). The waste is converted into the granulates used to make the case at a processing plant near the farm. These are then moulded at a plant nearby before prints are added at an organic paint shop.

Our Mobile Case Range
Currently, our A Good Mobile Case is available for iPhones X and XS with a selection of over thirty prints to choose from. Soon we’ll be extending this out to include new iPhone and Samsung models with some new lovely prints too.
