Making something new is often a matter of rethinking an old idea.
But, it would help if you had the right attitude, one that says it’s possible to make something better. And to get that attitude, you need a change of heart.
Our friends at the Toothbrush Factory had that change of heart. They saw how plastic and its toxic pollutants harm the environment and decided they could no longer make toothbrushes that way.
They decided there had to be a better way. After exploring a wide variety of alternatives, they discovered eco-friendly sustainably grown and harvested bamboo. They realized they had found a way to make a genuinely sustainable toothbrush with a premium 612 bristle from DuPont.
Bamboo has many advantages over plastic. It doesn’t pollute, it’s grown without pesticides or chemicals, and it naturally repels fats and water (it’s called nature’s own Teflon).
It’s a wonder nobody thought about making bamboo toothbrushes before. But that’s how it often is with innovation, once somebody invents something new, it seems obvious in hindsight.
But to get there, the innovators first needed a change of heart.
